Dave Peet
President
This is Dave's second stint as President.
Currently a Business Manager at local accountancy firm Menzies, Dave is very passionate about supporting businesses in Woking.
Executive Committee
The Executive is made up of members who are willing to give up some of their time to help with the Chamber. It is headed up by the President who is voted in by the members and usually holds the position for 2 years.
Assisting the President is a Vice-president (or 2) who often gravitate up to the position of president. Other members are the chairs of the subcommittees together with the Treasurer.
As a team we work together to ensure that the Chamber is run professionally and for the benefit of all members. The Executive also has the links with Woking Borough Council leaders so we can meet with them and discuss business issues affecting our members.

Stephen Hall
Vice President
Stephen has over 35+ years’ experience in the property industry. He previously worked at Northcroft (now part of Capita Property & Infrastructure) before joining Madlins in 2004 as a Senior Surveyor, promoted to Associate in 2007 and becoming a Partner in 2015. Stephen has advised a wide range of Private and Commercial Clients and specialises in both Quantity Surveying and Project Management, providing advice on the full range of pre and post Contract services for both new build and refurbishment projects.
Boris Rusen
Treasurer
Boris has been our treasurer since April 2023.
He is responsible for the Chamber's current and future stability and growth. He oversees all financial transactions and fundraising efforts going in or out of an organizing committee.
Boris is also a resident in Woking town centre since 2015, and as local businessman, running MAIL BOXES ETC. Woking Branch, local high street based friendly print, postal and courier service provider since 2009.
Rebecca Charlesworth
Business Development Director
Rebecca has enjoyed the role of Business Development Manager for Woking Chamber of Commerce for 2 years, managing events and membership for the Chamber. She also runs her own Office Supplies business, Officeset Ltd.
In her spare time, she also works for Porsche Brooklands.
Bruce Penson
Bruce is Managing Director of Woking based IT strategy, support and cyber security business Pro Drive IT. As well as 20 years' experience in the technology sector, he has a background in commercial operations for a global engineering firm.
Bruce also supports schools and colleges in the Woking borough through his voluntary work and is a member of the Business Development Committee.
Richard Field
Richard is a previous president of the Woking Chamber of Commerce.
He owns Fields Car Centre, Woking's premier garage and has been a member of the chamber for over 10 years.
Zo Khan
Zo, currently a partner at the renowned Estate Agency, Seymour's, joined the Executive of Woking Chamber of Commerce to support local businesses by sharing his knowledge and experience.
Having been successful in the property industry for almost twenty years, his approach of leading by example and belief in the importance of networking make a great basis for encouraging businesses to help one another.
Tariq Phillips
Chair of Planning, Property & Retail Committee
Tariq is an experienced commercial property solicitor, qualified in England and Wales. Formerly a founder and Managing Director of niche specialist property law firm TP Legal Solicitors based in Woking, Tariq has over 12 years of senior-level experience. Tariq’s industry experience is primarily in the licensed leisure sector, such as pubs, restaurants and boutique hotels, but covers all sectors.
